Repair chrome plating
The reprocessing of attrited, worn-out or damaged work pieces, especially for large components such as hydraulic piston rods, shafts and bearing studs, etc., has proven to be extremely economical.
Reconditioned surfaces are produced by means of de-chroming, grinding, welding of defects, heavy chrome plating with layer thicknesses up to 500µ, and a subsequent finish grinding of the chromium layer. If a repair of this kind proves uneconomical, ready-to-install components could also be produced in-house.
